Codexa Academy was founded by Kolade Afolabi, an award-winning software engineer with 5 years of experience designing and building scalable, robust applications. Having started his own coding journey as a teenager during the 2020 pandemic, Kolade uniquely understands how to rapidly turn passion into real-world impact. Today, he channels his expertise—gained from developing high-stakes solutions —into every lesson at Codexa.

We are an academy specifically designed for young minds aged 9Â to 16. We split students into two tailored streams to ensure the learning pace is just right:
Junior Codexa: For ages 9–12.
Senior Codexa: For ages 13–16.
Yes. Programming is a hands-on skill, so students must have their own functioning laptop and internet connection to practice in class and at home. Tablets and phones are not sufficient for the software we use.
Absolutely! Our Beginner Level assumes no prior knowledge. We start from the very basics—teaching the fundamentals of how coding and the internet work before moving into writing code. You are in safe hands.
Classes are 100% online using online conferencing platforms
Each level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) runs for 12 weeks. Classes are held twice weekly for 3 hours—designed to be intensive enough to learn, but flexible enough to fit around school or other commitments.
Parents and guardians should ensure that their children and wards can adequately juggle the classes with school activities.

We encourage all students to make it to the live classes as 70% attendance is mandatory. But still, we understand that life happens. Recordings would be made available for each class.
Yes. Upon the successful completion of their 12-week track and the defense of their final capstone project, every student is awarded an official Codexa Academy Certificate of Completion
All registered students would have access to the LMS wherein the class links, recordings and assignments shall be posted before and after each class. Kindly ensure they’re able to login either through your email or theirs.
Vital information for parents would also be passed through the whatsapp group.
You can register and make payments through the “programs” link. Kindly note you would be required to signup. After which you would be required to fill in the registration form.
You would be added to the whatsapp group. And in a weeks time, you should have access to the LMS using the signup email.Â
They won’t just learn theory; they will build real things. Depending on their level, they will create interactive websites, games, and functional web apps. Our curriculum is project-based, so they would leave with a portfolio to show off to you and the world!
